Databases

Databases are large searchable collections of information made up of journals, books, magazines, newspapers, and more. They are can be multi-disciplinary covering a wide range of subjects or focused on a single topic. What they have in common is that they contain information from reliable sources. The Library provides access to many databases for their students from their homepage. To access any of our databases, simply log in with your student e-mail and password.

HeionOnline: Access to The Law Journal Library containing more than 1,200 law and law-related periodicals, and English Reports, full reprint (1220-1865).

Lexis+ Lexis is a robust online research tool that offers extensive legal research and resources. It includes full-text legislation, case law, reference books, as well as indexes and journal articles.

Nexis: Business news, companies and financials, biographies, and cases.

vLexJustis (formerly JustisOne) vLexJustis is a case law database containing full-text Irish reports and digests from 1838 to present.

Westlaw IE: provides access to Irish legal information including the Irish Law Reports Monthly and other reported and unreported case material, Legislation, Journals and news.

Westlaw UK: provides access to UK case reports, legislation, analytical commentary, a comprehensive collection of full text journals, a legal journal index and EU material.
