Library skills classes will help students develop the skills they need to source scholarly information to engage with their curriculum, complete assignments and build their disciplinary knowledge throughout their college experience.

The Library is continuously working to develop initiatives to assist students achieve their academic goals. "Your Student Journey to Success" highlights the supports and services we provide through these initiatives. We provide drop in library clinics for students that cover a range of relevant topics related to sourcing information, effectively organising information, referencing and much more.
These classes are adapted to the particular learning levels of the group of students taking the class. We ask that you are selecting the date you would like to schedule the class that you try and give us at least a week in advance.

Zotero is a free to download software that will help you manage your references as part of your research. It is suitable for students doing larger research projects in senior UG or PG. Zotero is not required to do referencing and we recommend that students have a good understanding of referencing before using software such as Zotero. You can easily save online journal articles, eBooks etc. on to your Zotero account and then use Zotero to create in-text citations within your essay, generate a reference list and/or bibliography.
