Extenuating circumstances

The Extenuating Circumstances Form can be obtained via the Faculty Office and is available to students who feel that circumstances beyond their control have impacted their study and/or ability to complete the assessment. These circumstances will be noted by the Faculty Office and considered by the Examination Board.

Extenuating circumstances can include:

  • bereavement
  • illness
  • personal issues
  • technical problems on the day of the assessment
  • other exceptional events, including Covid-19 specific issues.
