• If the artwork does not have a title, briefly describe the work with your own words and use the description instead of title: 
  • Put the description of the artwork in square brackets. 

General Format: 

Artist, A. A. (Year). Title of artwork [Type of artwork]. Name of Museum, Location. URL

Artist, A. A. (Year). [Description of artwork] [Type of artwork]. Name of Museum, Location. URL

Example:
